Gender discussion

Statement 1:   Along with focusing on rehabilitation programs that are non-generic, prison systems should also consider treatment programs that are gender specific. Female offenders have different life experiences such as pregnancy and may be more affected by certain life events such as child sexual abuse or domestic violence

Statement 2:     The main objective of rehabilitation is to minimize the level of recidivism
